Beyan Velieva, Chief Reporter
Beyan is a sophomore at Commack High School and a Chief Reporter of The Courant for the 2023-2024 school year. She believes that the best aspect of journalism is getting to learn different things and to gain different views on life from people she never thought she’d talk to. Beyan’s favorite subject in school is English. In her free time, she loves reading, listening to Taylor Swift, going out to eat with her friends, and spending time with her cousins and family.
