Saamiya is a junior at Commack High School and is a Chief Reporter of The Courant for the 2024-2025 school year. She believes that the best aspect of journalism is the ability to communicate with others about important issues. Saamiya’s favorite subjects are English and history. In her free time, she loves to listen to music, read, and watch TV shows and movies.
