The new ‘It Couple’, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, revealed in late September that they are dating, stirring up controversy and talk between the “Swifties”, and fans of Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Rumors of the two’s involvement first surfaced when listeners of the “New Heights” podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce tuned in to the episode released on July 26, during which Travis Kelce revealed that he had gone to Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Kansas City and had tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
“Probably, like since my childhood, like recently I’ve mostly been listening to her a lot more the past two years,” said sophomore Sophia E.
Being an avid listener, Sophia has witnessed the majority of ex-boyfriends present in Swift’s career
“[Swift’s] favorite boyfriend is definitely Mr. Taylor Lautner, he’s an icon. Bestie Tom Hiddleston and Harry Styles are up there too, but Taylor Lautner, I think is the best ex,” said sophomore Mollie Y.
Many songs have been dedicated to her relationships such as “Back to December” for Lautner, “Style” for Styles, and “Getaway Car” for Hiddleston.
“I think that Travis and Taylor are good for each other because it seems that Travis doesn’t really care about her fame like Joe did so he doesn’t set her back,” said sophomore Julianna G., via text message.
Seeing as Travis has been going after Swift’s attention for a while now, lots of people think that this relationship might be the “Love Story” she has always wanted. 🔳
