Maheen is a senior at Commack High School and is a chief reporter of The Courant for the 2023-2024 school year. She believes that the best aspect of journalism is being able to shine a light on important issues. She appreciates the ability to spark change and inspire others. Maheen’s favorite subjects are college anatomy and physiology, biology, and science research. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to different places, baking with her friends, as well as studying in cafes.
