Artificial intelligence is a resource that is newly profound, altering and advancing students’ and teachers’ ability to obtain information. This highly advanced technology offers a variety of ways and techniques to enhance students’ learning.
“When finding out about ai, my test grades have improved due to the variety of information it provides,” said sophomore Sabeen C.
AI assists students, whether it’s through assigning quiz questions or distributing information that can teach a topic an alternative way than learning in class.
“When I have difficulties understanding an assignment or a study guide, asking AI can create a plan for me to understand the work given,” said junior Mikey P.
This additional source of information allows students to enhance their studies through intelligent search tutorials and articles.
“AI does not only give you one answer, but instead many, making it easier to understand the answer to your question,” said freshman Mia G.
Studying can lead to boredom, however it provides an inclusive and interactive learning dynamic. This consists of gamified activities, virtual simulations, and presentations that make learning more enjoyable.
“When I can learn fast and effectively whether it’s homework or studying for an upcoming test, AI can create plans and break down work for upcoming tests,” said Sabeen C.
Although this new technology may seem to be great, there are some downsides that tag along.
“When using AI to research information, you have to make sure you aren’t plagiarizing when using it for assignments, just as any other online source,” said Sabeen C.
Translating research obtained from AI to use on schoolwork can be dangerous, especially when submitting work as you own.
“AI can be useful when wanting to research a main idea and deeper information about a topic. But can get you into trouble when not properly citing work,” said Mikey P.
Overall, AI can be extremely effective for learners to obtain maximum information at a quick rate. Disadvantages tag along when it comes to improperly transmitting the information given. ◼️
