The cafeteria was renovated last summer and added a new iced coffee machine to their snack bar, which is a new staple in the school.
Along with the new snack bar, new furniture was added to the cafeteria. A variety of things are available at the snack bar such as cookies, ice cream, chips, and of course coffee! One of the most popular things that they sell is coffee.
“I know that the middle school doesn’t offer coffee, so it’s different,” said freshman Isabella W.
Having coffee as an option is a transition for, especially the freshmen. At Commack Middle School, there wasn’t a variety of snacks or beverages to buy.
“I liked it at first, but now it just tastes weird,” said freshman Juveena J.
Many people love the coffee, but there are still some people that have mixed emotions about the coffee. Many people have liked the coffee at first, but changed their mind because they realized that they didn’t like it that much, or vice versa.
“I would probably have an option to control the amount of milk that you can have in it,” said Juveena J.
Some students believe that there could be some changes made to improve the coffee and the experience. There are many other things that can be added to the cafeteria.
“They should have donut holes,” said Isabella W.
The snack bar is still a work in progress, but it is enjoyed by many students.◼️
