Finding the perfect club for you

Many clubs are available for all types of people. Whatever you enjoy, there is surely a club for you, as there are about 50 clubs here at Commack High School. Based on whichever traits or hobbies you might have, here are a few clubs that just might be the best fit for you!

If you are an athlete, you might like: Athletes Helping Athletes where you can mentor and advise middle school students about healthy decisions, drug and alcohol, and preventing bullying, or. Boys Scholar Athlete Leadership Club, or Girls Scholar Athlete Leadership Club.

If you are competitive, you might like: Mock Trial, or Brainstormers (a club for academic trivia).

If you are interested in acting or any part of a performance, you might like: Masque And Wig, where you participate in the fall drama and the spring musical, Stage Crew, or the Multimedia Club where you can further your interests in the careers of  TV Journalism, TV broadcasting, and a careers in the film industry.

If you like writing, you might want to check out: Etchings (the literary magazine), The Courant (the newspaper), or Crossroads (the  yearbook).

If you enjoy science, you might be interested in: Science Olympiad which competes at science competitions, the Astronomy Club, or National Science Quiz Bowl. 

If you like animals, you might enjoy: Cause For Paws.

If you want to make a positive impact on nature, you might want to think about joining: Garden Club or the Environmental Awareness Club.

If you are creative, some options for you might be: Art Club, Etchings, or Pathways.

If you like music, you might enjoy: Radio Club or Future American String Teachers Association (FASTA).

If you want to take a step into activism, you might want to take a look at: Human Rights Club or the Political Activists Club.

If you have a passion for helping others, you might be interested in: Best of Buds, Buddy Program, Glamour Gals, Grandfriends, Habitat For Humanity, Pay It Forward, or Special Friends.

If you are someone who enjoys math, you might want to look into: Math Team.
